Dr. Barrows is a native to Colorado and spent his teen years in San Antonio Texas. Dr. Barrows studied abroad in Canada, Mexico, and London while he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown Texas where he received his undergraduate degree in biology. He attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After receiving his Dental Degree in May 2000, Dr. Barrows took a vacation to the Virgin Islands and intuitively decided to start his dental career in Paradise. Prior to establishing his St. Thomas dental practice in January 2013, Dr. Barrows had been a dental partner in another St. Thomas dental office since October 2000. His experience of providing dentistry to the Virgin Islands natives has motivated him to open his own private practice so that he can provide a more personal dental experience. Dr. Barrows strives to provide the most modern dentistry to his patients, and his dental practice is one of the few on St. Thomas to utilize advanced dentistry with high-tech equipment.
Dr. Barrows has over 20-years of experience as a dentist providing services in all aspects of dentistry except orthodontics. He has extensive training including the use of advanced digital imaging which enables him and his patients to preview their teeth prior to the start of treatment with the use of sophisticated digital x-ray and intra-oral imaging. Dr. Barrows aims to provide his patients with the most advanced, comfortable, and accurate dentistry possible. Along with his professional opinion, Dr. Barrows believes that all of his patients need to be given the choice to decide which dental treatment is best for them. Dr. Barrows is a standing member of the American Dental Association and the Virgin Islands Dental Association; he holds a license to practice dentistry in both the Virgin Islands and Texas. Dr. Barrows is proud to provide his services for everyone and will continue to maintain a prestigious dental practice for the area.
